What Is Corrective Massage?
People are seeking this type of work, many are suffering with pain for a variety of reasons. These soft tissue techniques & joint mobilizations get to the root of the problem.
This offers a bridge between massage & other therapies where no one is currently doing treatment.
After 4-6 treatments, they should be fixed (don't worry, you will be busy because of all the referrals you will receive). Our ultimate goal is to get the client to a pain-free state with improved ROM.
Keep in mind, this is NOT relaxation, it is thorough and specific work. It is designed for results, not relaxing. It is for "correcting" the underlying problem and helping your clients.
What will you learn?
Soft tissue techniques & joint mobilization combinations, after determining function in their body. This includes looking at common and not-so-common conditions. Every body is different-this is where critical thinking comes in! Do the work that no one has been doing on your clients....

What will you Learn?
Learning Objectives:
1) Assess current AROM
2) History of past injuries & repetitive activities
3) Analyze your treatment plan. Apply your knowledge with the combination of techniques you will learn.
4) Determine hypermobility levels & how this affects your clients

(rule of thumb: half body wt in pounds = ounces to consume daily)
